1„Vieną dieną, – širdyje sau sakė Dovydas, – aš tikrai žūsiu nuo Sauliaus rankos. Nieko geresnio man nelieka, kaip gelbėtis filistinų krašte. Tada Saulius nustos manęs ieškoti visoje Izraelio žemėje, ir aš išsigelbėsiu iš jo rankų“.
