Which Bible translations are available?
BibleTools.io offers dozens of translations across multiple languages, including modern and classic English versions, with support for parallel reading so you can compare them verse by verse.
Do I need an account to use it?
No account is required to read the Bible, study the original languages, or browse commentaries. An account unlocks the multi-column study workspace and lets you save sessions and preferences across devices.

If everything is free, why support BibleTools.io?
BibleTools.io is free to use and always will be, but it isn't free to run. Donations from readers cover hosting, data, and development so we can keep every feature open to everyone — with no ads and no tracking. Giving is completely optional.
How can I donate or give?
You can give a one-time gift or a recurring monthly gift through Stripe at the $5, $10, or $25 level, or contribute any amount with PayPal. All payments are processed securely; BibleTools.io never sees or stores your card details.
Is my donation tax-deductible, and will I get a receipt?
Stripe and PayPal email you a receipt for every gift automatically. BibleTools.io is not a registered tax-exempt charity, so gifts are not tax-deductible. If you need help with a receipt, email support@bibletools.io.
How do I cancel a recurring (monthly) donation?
You can cancel a recurring Stripe gift anytime, with no penalty. Open the receipt email Stripe sent you and use the “Manage subscription” or billing link it contains to cancel from Stripe's customer portal. If you can't find the email or need help, just email support@bibletools.io and we'll cancel it for you. (PayPal gifts are one-time only, so there's nothing to cancel there.)
