1हारून के पुत्रों, नादब और अबीहू, ने अपना-अपना धूपदान लिया। उन्होंने उसमें आग भरी, और उसके ऊपर धूप रखी। तत्पश्चात् उन्होंने प्रभु के सम्मुख अपवित्र अग्नि अर्पित की, जिसकी आज्ञा प्रभु ने नहीं दी थी।
