2. To minister for men, from among men, offer gifts and sacrifices.
Two demands of a High Priests
1) That he should be selected from among the men that he represented - v.1
2) That he should be selected by God before whom he appears - v.4 and v.10 Hebrews 5:10.

One class -- those who erred thru ignorance, as opposed to presumptious sins. Numbers 15:30, Numbers 15:27-30, Hebrews 10:26

From death and was heard -- Not to save him from dying, but from death!

Learned -- What did He learn? What it was like being a man, and what obedience involved. He learned by experience -- Genesis 30:27 (cf KJV).
Hebrews 5:9
Perfect -- being perfected (complete) perfectly equipped to be High Priest and Savior. The perfection came thru the completion of His mission.
Author -- one who make possible, a "cause". NIV "source".

Of whom -- about the subject of Christ’s priesthood after the Melchisedec order.
uttered -- to explain. They were not interested in deep Bible Study.

We don’t know how long they had been Christians. But probably some of them 20 yrs plus ???.
milk -- babes in Christ. (v. 13 also).
oracles . . the utterances. Same word as Acts 7:38; Romans 3:2; Hebrews 5:12; 1 Peter 4:11. The Gr. word is occasionally used in the LXX. for ordinary human utterances; e.g. Psalms 19:14 (LXX. 18:14) “the words of my mouth.” - CBSC

Full age -- "full grown", mature.
Reason of use -- experience (great benefit of the book of Proverbs).
Discern -- discriminate
