¹Jerubbaäl (dat is dus Gideon) stond met zijn mannen 's morgens vroeg op. Ze zetten hun kamp op bij de bron bij Harod. Het tentenkamp van Midian lag ten noorden van hen, in het dal achter de heuvel Moré.
