1Factum est autem post anni circulum, eo tempore, quo solent reges ad bella procedere, congregavit Ioab exercitum, et robur militiæ, et vastavit terram filiorum Ammon; perrexitque et obsedit Rabba: porro David manebat in Ierusalem quando Ioab percussit Rabba, et destruxit eam.
