1तब यहूदा के लोगों ने अमस्याह के स्थान पर नया राजा होने के लिये उज्जिय्याह को चुना। अमस्याह उज्जिय्याह का पिता था। जब यह हुआ तो उज्जिय्याह सोलह वर्ष का था।
