1अम्मोनी जाति के राजा नाहश ने याबेश-गिलआद नगर पर चढ़ाई कर दी। उसने नगर को घेर लिया। याबेश नगर के सब नागरिकों ने नाहश से कहा, ‘हमारे साथ सन्धि कीजिए। हम आपकी गुलामी करेंगे।’
