1दाऊद अपने महल में रहने लगा। उसने एक दिन नबी नातान से यह कहा, ‘देखिए मैं तो देवदार के महल में रहता हूं, परन्तु प्रभु की विधान-मंजूषा तम्बू में परदों के मध्य पड़ी है!’
