1וַיֵּאָסְפוּ כָל־הָעָם כְּאִישׁ אֶחָד, אֶל־הָרְחוֹב, אֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵי שַׁעַר־הַמָּיִם; וַיֹּאמְרוּ לְעֶזְרָא הַסֹּפֵר, לְהָבִיא, אֶת־סֵפֶר תּוֹרַת מֹשֶׁה, אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
