1וַיִּצָּעֵק אִישׁ אֶפְרַיִם, וַיַּעֲבֹר צָפוֹנָה; וַיֹּאמְרוּ לְיִפְתָּח מַדּוּעַ עָבַרְתָּ לְהִלָּחֵם בִּבְנֵי־עַמּוֹן, וְלָנוּ לֹא קָרָאתָ לָלֶכֶת עִמָּךְ, בֵּיתְךָ נִשְׂרֹף עָלֶיךָ בָּאֵשׁ׃
