Psalms 142TYN

The Instruction of David, a prayer when he was in the cave. I cry unto the LORD with my voice, yea even unto the LORD do I make my supplication.

I pour out my complaint before him, and shew him of my trouble.

When my spirit is in heaviness, for thou knowest my path: in the way wherein I walk have they privily laid a snare for me.

I look upon my right hand, and see, there is no man that will know me. I have no place to flee unto, no man careth for my soul.

Therefore do I cry unto thee, O LORD, and say: Thou art my hope and my portion in the land of the living.

Consider my complaint, for I am brought very low. Oh deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks unto thy name: which thing if thou wilt grant me, then shall the righteous resort unto my company.
