And the third day, was there a marriage in Cana a city of Galilee. And Jesus' mother was there.
(And) Jesus was called also and his disciples unto the marriage.
And when the wine failed, Jesus' mother said unto him: they have no wine.
Jesus said unto her: woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
His mother said unto the ministers: whatsoever he sayeth unto you, do it.
And there were standing (there,) six waterpots of stone after the manner of the purifying of the jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.(three measures)
(And) Jesus said unto them: fill the water pots with water, and they filled them up to the hard brim.
And he said unto them: Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was turned unto wine, neither(and) knew(not) whence it was (But the ministers which drew the water knew) He called the bridegroom,
and said unto him: all men at the beginning set forth good wine; And when men be drunk, then that which is worse: But thou hast kept back the good wine hitherto.(until now.)
This beginning of miracles(first token) did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and shewed his glory, and his disciples believed on him.
After that descended he into(went he down to) Capernaum, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: But continued not long(many days) there.
And the jews' ester was even at hand; And Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
and found sitting in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep, and doves, and changers of money sitting.
And he made a scourge of small cords, and drave them all out of the temple, both(with the) sheep and oxen, and poured down(out) the changers' money, and overthrew their(the) tables.
And said unto them that sold doves: Have these things hence, and make not my father's house, an house of merchandise.
(And) His disciples remembered, how that it was written: The zeal of thine house, hath even eaten me.
Then answered the jews and said unto him: what token shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou dost(that thou mayest do) these things?
Jesus answered, and said unto them: destroy(break down) this temple, and in three days I will raise(rear) it up again.
Then said the jews: In forty six years this temple was built:(was this temple a building:) and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
But he spake of the temple of his body.
As soon therefore as he was risen from death again, his disciples remembered that he thus said unto them. And they believed the scripture, and the words which Jesus had said.
When he was at Jerusalem, at ester in the feast, many believed on his name: when they saw the signs(his miracles) which he did:
but Jesus put not himself in their hands, because he knew all men,
and needed not, that any man should testify of man.(him.) For he knew what was in man.
