1The twenty seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Juda began to reign.
2Sixteen year old was he when he was made king, and he reigned forty two year in Jerusalem, his mother's name was Jecheliah, and was of Jerusalem.
3And he did that pleased the LORD in all things as did his father Amaziah:
4save that they put not the hill altars away: for the people offered and burned fat still in the hill altars.
5And the LORD smote the king, that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house at liberty, and Jotham the king's son governed the house and judged the people of the land.

7And Azariah laid him to sleep with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David, and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
8In the thirty eighth year of Azariah king of Juda, was Zachariah the son of Jeroboam made king upon Israel in Samaria, and reigned six months,
9and did that displeased the LORD, as did his fathers, and turned not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat which made Israel sin.
10And Selum the son of Jabes conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
11The rest of the deeds of Zachariah are written in the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12This is the saying that the LORD spake unto Jehu, saying: thy sons shall sit on the seat of Israel in the fourth generation. And it came to pass.
13Selum the son of Jabes began to reign the thirty ninth year of Azariah king of Juda, and he reigned a month in Samaria.
14For Manahem the son of Gadi came up from Therzah and went to Samaria and smote Selum the son of Jabes in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15The rest of the deeds of Selum and the treason, which he conspired are written in the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
16The same time Manahem destroyed Thaphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Therzah (because they opened not to him) he smote and rent all the women with child.
17The thirty ninth year of Azariah king of Juda, began Manahem the son of Gadi to reign upon Israel, and continued ten years in Samaria.
18And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and turned not all his days from the sin of Jeroboam the son of Nabat which made Israel sin.
19And Phul king of Assiria came upon the land. And Manahem gave Phul a thousand talents of silver, to help him to stablish his kingdom.
20And Manahem raised the money in Israel, upon all men of substance, for to give the king of Assiria fifty sicles of silver apiece. And the king of Assiria turned back again and tarried not there in the land.

22And when Manahem was laid to rest with his fathers Phakeiah his son reigned in his stead.
23The fiftieth year of Azariah king of Juda, began Phakeiah the son of Manahem to reign over Israel in Samaria, and continued two year,
24and wrought wickedly in the sight of the LORD and left not off from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nabat which made Israel sin.
25And Phakeh the son of Romeliah a lord of his conspired against him and slew him in the palace of the king's house, with Argob and Ariah and fifty men with him that were Gileadites: and when he had killed him, reigned in his room.
26The rest of the acts of Phakeiah and all he did are written in the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
27And the fifty second year of Azariah king of Juda, began Phakeh the son of Romeliah to reign over Israel in Samaria and continued twenty year,
28and did evil in the sight of the LORD, and turned not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat that made Israel sin.
29In the days of Phakeh king of Israel, came Teglath Phalasar king of Assiria, and took Aion, Abel, Beth, Maach, Janoah, Kades, Hazor, Gilead, Galile, and all the land of Nephthali, and carried them away to Assiria.
30And Hosea the son of Elah conspired treason against Phakeh the son of Romeliah and smote him and slew him and reigned in his stead, the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Oziah.
31The rest of the acts of Phakeh, and all he did, are written in the stories of the kings of Israel.
32The second year of Phakeh son of Romeliah king of Israel, began Jotham the son of Oziah king of Juda to reign.
33Five and twenty year old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen year in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jerusa the daughter of Zadok.
34And he did that was right in the sight of the LORD: even in all things as did his father Oziah, did he.
35But they put not away the hill altars: for the people offered and burnt incense still in the hill altars, he built the highest door in the house of the LORD.

37In those days the LORD began to send against Juda, Razin the king of Siria and Phakeh the son of Romeliah.
38And Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
